2021 was a big year for Salon Noir with so many highlights to look back on!
Well, it's already March, and we are just now taking a breath to look back on 2021. From exciting collaborations to new team members and salon products, there have been many exciting moments.
We’re so proud to have expanded our Noir products. We recently launched a brand-new shampoo and conditioner duo made for repairing and preventing dry, brittle hair. Split ends? Please! This fall, we launched a new collection of candles. These richly-scented fragrances allow you to fill your living space with the scents of Salon Noir.
The Salon Noir team grew this year with the addition of new staff members at both our Centerville and Lebanon locations. You can find out more about our brilliant and talented staff here.
Salon Noir has a mission to connect with local businesses all over the greater Dayton, Centerville, and Lebanon areas. In January, we partnered with Toxic Brew Company in Dayton to launch a special tap beer, Noir Porter. It’s rich, fruity, chocolaty, and all-around delicious. You can find this on tap at a number of local breweries and Toxic Brew, too.
In February, we launched Noir Crush, our Artemis Charity candle, in collaboration with our friends at Dayton Real Estate Crush. 100% of sales from our limited-edition candle went to the Artemis Center, a lifeline to victims of domestic abuse in Dayton and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We’re so happy to have been a part of this partnership benefiting such an important, worthy cause.
Salon Noir Mobile hit the road! If you attended any Dayton-area events throughout the spring and summer months, you may have seen our mobile salon. We had a blast making stops at events like the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, Dayton Clash Cut-a-Thon, The Beauty Boost Dayton Full Moon Event, and Xenia’s Vintage Market Days. We have big plans for the hAirstream in 2022 - if you see us on the road, we hope you’ll stop by and say hi!
