Make It Posh Picnics and Salon Noir teamed up back in September to host an epic giveaway featuring a day of total pampering for one lucky person and their bestie. This includes a day of hair and makeup services in our mobile salon at the lovely Cedar Bay Farm, a delicious posh picnic, a product gift basket, and a mini-photo shoot with Linen & Elm!
The winner of our Day With The hAirstream giveaway is having their first-ever Salon Noir experience during their upcoming day of indulgence. Before the big day, we interviewed our winner about their favorite snacks, songs, and self-care techniques.
Taylor, who won this giveaway, owns a stationery business out of Cincinnati. The Marigold Collective, who designed the invitations for our holiday party, creates stunning paper goods (and a lot more!). Be sure to follow her on Instagram!
Q. If you could put together an assortment of delicious savory and/or sweet snacks, what would your ideal spread look like?
A. meat, cheeses + crackers, bread + dip, pickles - basically anything savory. I like to try new things!
Q. What's your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite artist?
A. I like all music but tend to listen to more alternative/folk. Caamp and Rainbow Kitten Surprise
Q. What friend did you decide to invite to join you for your Day with the hAirstream and why?
A. My friend Katherine. She asked me to be her maid of honor this year and I feel like this would be a great memorable experience for us this year leading up to her wedding.
Q. Describe your style. Do you like modern and posh, or boho chic?
A. I’d describe my style as modern boho. I stick to a lot of neutrals, very minimal in choices of patterns or colors. tend to have more of a boho/west coast vibe. tan is my jam.
Q. What's your favorite beverage? Do you have a recipe?
A. I don’t necessarily have a favorite beverage, I like to mix it up a lot. I’m a wine drinker and good with any cocktails really, haha.
Q. What are your favorite ways to practice self-care?
A. Favorite self-care is some type of pampering. a facial/massage, getting nails done, getting eyebrows done, bath, etc.
Q. How can our team make your day with the hAirstream extra special?
A. I think the day is extra special in itself! I don’t typically do things like this!
Q. How did you feel when you learned you won the giveaway?
A. I didn’t believe it! I’ve never won a giveaway like this before and enter in them pretty frequently. I was extremely excited that this is the one I finally won!
Q. What are you most looking forward to during your personal day with the hAirstream?
A. I’m most looking forward to getting the hair/makeup done. It feels like a pamper to me and man do I need some self-care after this busy first year I’ve had with my business!
